About Jill
I was born and raised in Johnstown, PA. In my twenties, I met my husband who happened to be in the Coast Guard. When we got orders to New Orleans, I picked up and left everything I knew to start our life together. Decorating (and fixing!) our home became our favorite shared hobby.
When we received orders to move to Virginia, we began taking on more serious home projects. Mike began to thrive with his woodworking, and I found my style in the Grandmillennial antiques of Virginia. We bought an “as-is” fixer upper and that’s when I began sharing our projects online. How quickly it grew!
Now we’re in Florida for the final years of our Coast Guard life. I’ve tweaked my style to be more Coastal Grandmillennial here, and we still fill our spare time with DIY projects.
Soon, we will retire in Williamsburg, VA and begin renovations on a colonial home.
