I found these canopies, matching bedding, and curtains at an estate sale in Norfolk, VA in 2021. They actually belonged to one of my children’s teachers, and she was able to give me a little insight into them. She had a designer make them years before – everything was custom, and it showed.
I stashed them away for the next house and finally got the chance to use them. I was delighted when my four year old daughter said she wanted one over her bed. She loves birds, so it really fit her style. She also loves blue, so I brought more of the blue in the fabric to the forefront with a monogrammed pillow – and her wall color.
