This post is sponsored by Wayfair, but all opinions and reviews are my own.
There’s something about spring in Virginia that just feels extra special. The trees are starting to bloom, the daffodils are popping up everywhere, and we’re finally getting those warmer days mixed in with the last little hints of winter. It truly feels like a quintessential spring, and it always inspires me to refresh our home and bring a little bit of that beauty indoors.
This month is a great time to start shopping for: patio sets, outdoor rugs, patio umbrellas, welcome mats, planters, wreaths, and Spring decor.
I tend to keep my home fairly classic year-round, but I love making small seasonal updates that reflect what’s happening outside. This year, I found a few pieces from Wayfair that made such a difference.
A Classic Spring Centerpiece: The Tulipiere
The first thing I added this season was a beautiful tulipiere, and it has quickly become the centerpiece of our dining room.
Mine is 13 inches tall (there are two sizes on the listing), and I think it’s the perfect height for a table—you can still easily see and talk to people across from you, which is especially nice if you’re hosting something like Easter brunch or having friends over.
What makes a tulipiere so special is the structure. This one has about 25 openings, which allows you to arrange each stem individually. I especially love using it for tulips. If you’ve ever bought tulips, you know they can get a little floppy and sad looking—but this vase really helps them stand tall and feel intentional.
A few little tricks I used:
- I trimmed the tulips fairly short to give them more support
- I peeled back most of the leaves (leaving just one or two)
It lets the blooms take center stage and helps them stay more upright. I’m not sure if that’s officially scientific… but it works beautifully.

A Fresh Wreath for the Season
Another easy swap I love to make this time of year is updating our wreath. It’s one of the simplest ways to make your home feel seasonal before you even walk inside.
Wayfair has so many options—you’ll easily find something for your style—but I was drawn to one that mixes greenery with soft florals in the prettiest cornflower blue. It feels fresh, classic, and just colorful enough for spring without being too bold.
I also love that there are multiple color options depending on your style. Whether your home leans more traditional, coastal, or modern, Wayfair really does have something for everyone. And you can’t beat their shipping speed- So many of these items arrived in just a few days.
A Simple Entryway Update
After the winter we had (hello ice and snow), our front door area was definitely due for a refresh. One of the easiest upgrades I made was swapping out our welcome mat.
The new one I chose has such a classic pattern, and it ties in perfectly with our black exterior lights and handrail. It’s a small change, but it instantly made the front entry feel cleaner and more pulled together.

Bringing Spring Inside
What I love most about these updates is how simple they are. You don’t need to completely redecorate your home to make it feel fresh for a new season—just a few thoughtful changes can go a long way.
For me, spring is all about:
- Fresh flowers
- Light, natural colors
- Classic pieces that reflect what’s happening outside
I’m already looking forward to making a few more updates as the season continues, and Wayfair is always one of my first stops when I’m looking for something new.
If you’re also refreshing your home this season, you can shop more of my favorite Wayfair finds on my LTK—I have a dedicated section filled with pieces I own and love, like our new daybed and burl wood console.
