Our condo is located in Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Virginia! We have loved visiting this resort for special occasions and weekend trips, when we lived in Norfolk. Our condo is a downstairs condo with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. It has a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and three back decks that overlook the golf course. It’s so peaceful!
Our units are all connected, but technically, we could split this into three separate units.
- One bedroom has a king size bed, the living room, kitchen, and washer and dryer.
- The other two units each have 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom (more like a hotel room).
- We have a king size bed in one room and two queens in the other.
We’re looking at getting a new sleeper sofa for living room, so if we rented all three bedrooms, we could technically sleep 10 people here!
Lots of families come to Williamsburg, VA for vacations. You can visit Busch Gardens, which is right next door to our condo (sometimes we hear the train whistle!), Water Country USA, Colonial Williamsburg, the outlets, numerous antique and specialty stores (lots of Christmas shoppes!), and nearby Jamestown and Yorktown offer history museums. We also just enjoy the outdoor amenities that Kingsmill resort offers. There are walking and biking paths throughout the resort, playgrounds, and our condo has a shared pool. We especially loved visiting here in the Fall with our kids.
Airbnbs can be hard to come by in Williamsburg. I think our condo will be perfect for those travelers who are looking to take in the local sites but have a place to settle at night with laundry and a full kitchen.
As Airbnb hosts, the resort doesn’t allow us to use their amenities (like golf or the lazy river pool), but if you’d like to tag a night at the resort onto your booking with us, you can do that and enjoy those amenities for a day or two.
