Wayfair Black Friday in July: A Tour of Our Condo Bedrooms

I’m so excited to give you a little peek inside the bedrooms of Our Classic Condo today! I thought it would be fun to walk you through how we styled each space—starting with the beds and nightstands. From smart storage swaps to some of my favorite Wayfair finds, each room has its own personality while still feeling cohesive and calm. Let’s take a mini tour, shall we?

And thank you to Wayfair for sponsoring this post!  Furnishing this condo this year has been a labor of love, but by shopping Wayfair, I was able to find quality pieces that shipped quickly. We were on a tight schedule to get this up and running, and after having guests in here nearly every day since we launched, I can say how grateful I am for the quality pieces we purchased on Wayfair. Everything is holding up so well, and guests have loved the bedrooms and living room from Wayfair.

Now’s a great time to get the pieces for your home during Wayfair’s Black Friday in July! Up to 80% Off and free shipping from July 24-28.

The Golf Bedroom

One of our favorite bedrooms in the condo is what we lovingly call the Golf Bedroom—it overlooks the ninth fairway and makes the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring Williamsburg or hitting the links yourself.

🛏 The Bed: Classic Comfort with a Twist

We started with a king-size upholstered bed in a soft grey. It gives the room a tailored, elegant feel without being too formal—perfect for a space that’s both stylish and meant to relax in.  This bed is such a hit that we purchased one for our home, too!

🧺 Nightstands That Work Hard

Because this room doesn’t have space for a full dresser, we went with a clever alternative: these white chest-of-drawers that double as nightstands. The clean, transitional design strikes just the right balance between classic and updated. They give us that extra storage we need for guests without crowding the room.  If it looks familiar to you, it’s because I purchased another one in green and use that in the living room to store board games.

⛳ Art with a View

Above the bed, we hung one of our favorite details in the whole condo: a framed canvas print called Golf Course Study IV. It’s the perfect nod to the view just outside the window.

This isn’t just any canvas. It’s:

  • Hand-stretched and mounted on a solid wood stretcher

  • Set in a 2″ thick floater frame for that designer-level look

  • Fade and water-resistant, making it as durable as it is handsome

  • Made to order in the U.S., and arrives ready to hang

It pulls the whole room together while giving it a subtle, sporty touch—just enough to tip your cap to the setting without going full clubhouse.

⛳ A Room That Feels Like a Vacation

The end result is a room that’s cozy, functional, and just the right amount of themed. Whether you’re waking up to coffee and golf course views or tucking in after a long day at the amusement park, we hope this bedroom feels like a little retreat of its own.

A Calm, Coastal Retreat

In the primary bedroom, I leaned into a more colorful, coastal vibe—something fresh, serene, and a little playful. I used the same upholstered bed from Wayfair that I love so much, but this time chose it in the most beautiful sage green. These beds are such a great find: the headboards are padded and substantial, making them perfect for propping up with a book or watching a late-night show in comfort.

Above the bed, I hung a coastal-inspired art piece I’ve had for a while—its palette of soft sage and ocean blue set the tone for the entire room. I pulled that blue for the nightstands (also from Wayfair), which are not only stylish but surprisingly functional. Although they look like they have two drawers, each one is actually a single, deep drawer—perfect for stashing chargers, books, or even a laptop. They come in a variety of fun colors too—think pink, lavender, emerald, and more—making them an easy way to add personality to a space.

The lamps are another favorite Wayfair find. I actually owned these in a previous home and was thrilled to use them again here after our buyer purchased them from me. The silhouette is timeless and works beautifully on both sides of the bed. Buying them as a pair made styling the nightstands effortless.

I like to keep bedroom decor simple and uncluttered, but since a longtime follower AND my best friend are staying here next week, I added a few thoughtful touches: fresh roses, a small dish for jewelry or keys, and charger blocks for any devices. Just enough to make the space feel welcoming and personal without overwhelming the calm.

I hope you enjoyed this mini-bedroom tour of our condo!
