I have a kaftan from H&M that I bought a couple years ago that I absolutely love. It’s a linen fabric and is the perfect dress to throw on during the summer. Since then, I’ve always kept a close eye on H&M’s options. Their clothes seem to sell out quickly online, so if you’re reading this now and like what you see – grab. that. kaftan!
Here are the two I ordered: this bold blue and white pattern and the olive green embroidered one. The blue kaftan’s fabric is a bit more supple, more similar to my kaftan of yesteryear. The green one is nice, too, but slightly scratchy. I bet it will get softer with a few washes. I do love the neckline and embroidery on that one, so I’m still recommending it.
I ordered both in a medium and would say they’re true to size, with a medium being a size 8/10.
let’s all ignore the strap hanging out, can we?
And I’ve had this dress for a few months now and still love it. It’s a tighter silhouette, but it’s cotton. I love the gold buttons!
