Have you ever taken a fresh look at your space in your home and reimagined it? That’s exactly what we did with our wine bar project. Originally, this was the kitchen’s pantry. It had a door and a few shelves.
During our kitchen renovation, we took down the wall between the kitchen and the dining room to create a large pantry with a sink and dishwasher (aka our “scullery”), so this original pantry area became a bit of an afterthought.

In our home in Florida, we installed a wine and beverage refrigerator and got a lot of use out of it, so when I saw this one on Wayfair, I knew exactly the space for it – the original pantry! This one has been great. It can hold 18 wine bottles on the left side and up to 54 cans on the right side.
I also moved my kitchen runner over here – I love how it warms up the space.
After ordering some materials, we built the shelves and backdrop for the space – a perfect moody look.
I then shopped Wayfair for some bar accessories – they have so many good pieces for entertaining and ship quickly. I wanted items that would feel classic, served a purpose, but still looked beautiful on display.
First off, I bought this stainless steel wine chiller. Our summers get pretty hot in Virginia, and these are great for keeping your drinks on ice. When not in use, you can also use them as pretty planters. Love something pretty that has a dual-function!
I also couldn’t resist this pretty whiskey decanter. I love cut glass – it’s pretty as is. Or you can use it to store your favorite liquor,
I also scooped up these white wine glasses from Wayfair’s RE/FINE line. I love this line of quality pieces Wayfair has for home. I own the duvet cover, towels, melamine glasses, and linen placemats from this line and would recommend them all.
If you love a good charcuterie board, I can’t recommend my marble cutting board enough. I got a ton of use out of it over the holidays with guests. It’s such an easy appetizer to pull together, and the marble cutting board really elevates the presentation. It looks perfect over here at the wine bar.
Wayfair had so many options for wine bar accessories, entertaining ware, and glassware. The wine fridge also shipped incredibly quickly – it was here in just three days!
