Mike and I have been busy getting our vacation rental ready this month. After renovating three bathrooms, installing all new flooring, and painting, we’re finally at my favorite part – furnishing and decorating. I’ve found so many good pieces from Wayfair, who is sponsoring my blog today. They really made it easy to create a cozy living room, with their fast shipping and wide variety of styles.
Today I want to give you a little tour of our living room at the condo!

Our condo sleeps eight people, so ensuring our living room was comfortable for that many people was a big priority for me. I also wanted to maximize the view from our living room. Our porch overlooks the fairway of the ninth hole, and one of my favorite things to do when we lived in the condo this past summer was to watch golfers hit their shot. These striped swivel chairs were the perfect solution. Guests can watch TV or play games at the coffee table but also swivel to face the other direction to watch the sunset.
We’ve created two living spaces this way. First, you have the couch, coffee table, and striped chairs, but when those swivel around, you then have a bar area and additional reading chair. I’ve also added ottomans for footrests or additional seating, again.

Speaking of the couch, I’m so pleased with Wayfair’s Amari slipcovered sofa. I ordered it in the Navy blue Performance fabric, which I think was a smart choice for a vacation rental. Even my mom, who was visiting last week, remarked at how comfortable it was – and she’s a tough critic! Although it’s not listed as a deep seated cushion, I do find the cushions to be nice and deep, perfect for curling up after a long day. The cushions are also reversible. I’d definitely recommend it for young families.
It’s always tricky to find the right art for above a couch. When I saw these framed canvases of cranes, I knew they’d be perfect for above ours. I ordered the 24” x 36” style, which really draws your eye up and makes the room feel taller. You could even break the set apart, if you’d like, and use them in different rooms as a way to make your whole space feel cohesive.
Another fun little hack I like is using these dressers made for kids’ rooms in other places. Near the sliding doors, I’m using this pretty green dresser as an entertainment console. On the top, we have bar accessories, and in the drawers, I’m keeping games, puzzles, and extra blankets. The height is 34”, which is close to counter height, so it feels perfect over here.
I love this shade of green, too. The living room has a LOT of blue and white, so I needed a third color to break it up. This green looks great alongside the other pieces in here.
This space has come a long way from the tired furniture that was in here when we purchased the condo! I’m excited to watch it evolve even more, but I feel so good about these pieces from Wayfair that really brought my vision to life.
You can shop all of these, and more of my favorites from Wayfair, on my LTK. Be sure to follow me on the LTK app, too!
